It's good that you have taken an initiative to start a group for CFA Level 1 Dec 2012 exam.

Study groups in cities will be good but it's difficult to coordinate time and travel is a big issue. So it's better to use Skype.

The CFA Institute has been permitted to administer the CFA programme in India.

At a hearing held on April 17, 2012, the AICTE declared that its executive committee had concluded that the existing AICTE regulations do not apply to the CFA programme. This is a huge relief to all Indian candidates and we can take the exam in India.

The admission tickets for June 2012 CFA exams are available now. I guess some of us in Mumbai are heading to Thakur college :)
