    Dear DG Members,

We had got in touch with the CFA Institute regarding the June 2011 exams in India. Currently the CFA Institute has not received approval to offer the June 2011 CFA examinations at test centers in India. So Indian applicants have to select test centers in other countries.

We will provide updates on this matter as and when we receive more information.

    Thank you,
    Sougata

Initially I was planning to give L1 this dec('10) and then appear for L2 coming June('11). Is this possible?
It's possible and some people have done it in the past. But you should be ready to work hard for long hours and forget about any parties till June next year

    Neetu,

Parties must go on ..... whatever be the situation!
But what I have heard that for L2 you have to have study seriously atleast for straight 6 months. Since you are also working, so u can understand how difficult it is to continue both with full dedication. I am still confused.

Have u appeared for L1 last June?

Yes 6 months should be enough provided you are regularly putting 15-20 hours/week.

20 hours/week may be possible only if you put 7-8 hrs per day on Sat and Sun...it's definitely not easy...

Yaa...Naveen, I completely agree with you. But can you please let me know whether L2 exam is more quantitative based or theory based as I am more comfortable with Quant.

I have not appeared for L1 yet.

I have heard that L2 has enough quant-based questions.

    Anybody for level2 2011 exam.

    Hi all,

I would like to be in touch with people giving 2011 Level2 exam, first timers as well as repeating candidates.
It would be nice, if people discuss the subject topics, modes of preparation, material sharing as well as tips...
    Best wishes,
