It depends on where you want to work. The capital (dealers) module is good if you want to work in a brokerage firm like Religare or India Infoline (5paisa.com).

NSE Certified Stock Market Training Programs

I just learned about this and thought of sharing....

[COLOR="green"]The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has joined hands with Manipal Education, to impart training, in subjects related to stock markets.

The training programs are designed to cater to people interested in a career in stock markets and other related financial services and also to those who simply wish to learn about the functioning of the market. Some training programs are currently being offered over multiple days in a month across various cities in India.

i thinnk NCFM is more useful if u r doin M.B.A. coz it gives an edge to your C.V. otherwise , it does'nt have much relevance unless you want to go into the share broking business or job as the case may be. i mean it does'nt hav any direct relations to the finance field. i can tell as i ve also done its DEALER'S CAPITAL MMODULE.

Nice to learn about your views on NCFM.
How tough was it to pass the Dealer's module?
    What topics were covered?

the way NCFM study materials are made, it covers all the relevant topics under the purview of that course module. so i dont think that its necessary to go through some other books while study mat is sufficient.

    Thanks Rajesh for the input.
